Jennifer Remling wasn’t always an entrepreneur. In fact, it wasn’t that long ago that she was a corporate executive leading global recruiting functions for companies like Rock-Tenn, Sapient and Manhattan Associates. Her experience on the corporate side was exciting, valuable and successful. However, after traveling the world and interviewing thousands of interesting people, she realized something was missing. She had become successful by all traditional standards, but she simply wasn’t fulfilled – and neither were many of the executives she had recruited over the years.
Today, Jennifer runs her own accomplished and fulfilling recruiting firm, in addition to Carve Your Own Road. Her passion for understanding the entrepreneurial spirit is helping people redefine how and where they work to achieve career fulfillment on their own terms.
With a book in the works due to be available April 2009 by Career Press, Jennifer has been featured in media outlets like MSNBC.com and The New York Post. She is also a frequent speaker at corporate training seminars, professional development workshops and other industry events. Jennifer can be contacted at jennifer@carveyourownroad.com.
