
Jennifer and Joe Remling both made major changes in their lives through the discovery that they could live and work on their own terms and realized how much happier and fulfilled they were. Joe is an avid road traveler and wanted to see the country and Jennifer wanted to write a book about how to find career happiness. Together, they embarked on a journey traveling 5,000 miles around the country in an Airstream to interview people who had successfully made life-changing course corrections. This was a life-changing journey for both Joe and Jennifer as well; they ran their businesses from the road while doing interviews for Carve Your Own Road.

Before authoring Carve Your Own Road: Do What You Love and Live the Life You Envision, Jennifer Remling was a corporate recruiting executive for high tech consulting corporations and today has her own consulting firm. She traveled around the country in 2007 with her husband, Joe to interview people who were successfully pursuing their dreams in order to write Carve Your Own Road (Career Press, 2009). A frequent speaker on the topic of professional development, Remling has been featured in media outlets such as CNN, ABC News, MSNBC.com, The New York Post and Shape Magazine. Jennifer also recently launched the Panta Rei Community for woment because she wants women to have access to great content, meaningful connections and ways to relax and rejuvenate.S

Joe Remling has been working in architecture and design for more than 13 years,
managing projects such as the Georgia Aquarium. He left his corporate architecture
job in 2004 to start ai3, a design firm. He serves on the board of directors for the
Museum of Design Atlanta and has been a guest lecturer at The Art Institute of Atlanta.
